Should you, as a breadwinner, be stricken by a critical illness, your earnings are likely to cease or at best diminish. Few families are able to sustain any interruption of income for a long time.

Your financial commitments will still continue
…….the mortgage
…….the cost of your medical treatment
…….your children’s education

All these and more will cause stress, anxiety and upset at time when you are least able to cope.

You may own a life insurance policy but you cannot make a claim at all because you are still alive.

Life insurance, by itself, simply no longer provides the scope of protection that many people need.
